General Event Information
When is the 2026 Regional Talent Fest?
The 2026 Regional Talent Fest will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
Where will the event take place?
The event will take place at St. Peter's Mar Thoma Church in New Jersey.
What is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is Thursday, November 5, 2026.
Who needs to register?
All attendees must register, including participants, parents, visitors, clergy, judges, volunteers, and children aged 5 and under.
Registration
Can I register multiple people together?
Yes. One parent or representative can register multiple attendees under one registration using a single contact email.
Do I need to create an account to register?
No. Account creation is optional. You can complete your registration as a guest.
What are the benefits of creating an account?
An account allows you to access the Registrant Portal, view and edit your registration when permitted, manage attendees, view Live Updates, and access the Event Guide.
Will I receive a registration confirmation?
Yes. The registration confirmation will be sent to the contact email provided during registration.
Can I change my registration after submitting it?
Registrants with accounts can make permitted changes through the Registrant Portal. Guest registrants can create an account to manage their existing registration or contact the organizers for assistance. Certain changes may require organizer assistance.
Fees and Payments
How much does registration cost?
The registration fee for paid attendee categories is $15 for Whole Day and $10 for Second Half. Certain attendee categories have a $0 registration fee.
What is included in Whole Day registration?
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included.
What is included in Second Half registration?
Snacks are included.
What payment methods are accepted?
Online payment through Stripe, Cash, and Check.
Is there an additional fee for paying online?
No. The registration price is the same for Online, Cash, and Check.
Who should checks be payable to?
Checks should be payable to St. Peter's MTC - Sunday School.
Will I receive a payment confirmation?
Yes. Once payment is received and confirmed, a separate Payment Received email is sent to the registration contact email.
Optional Donations
Can I make a donation while registering?
Yes. You can make a completely voluntary donation during registration.
Is a donation required?
No. Donations are optional and do not affect participation or attendance.
Can I choose my own donation amount?
Yes. You can enter the amount you wish to donate. There are no preset suggested donation amounts.
Can I register without making a donation?
Yes. Leave the donation field blank.
Are donations included in the registration fee?
No. Donations are financially tracked separately from registration fees.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Donation documentation and any applicable tax treatment depend on the receiving organization and relevant tax requirements. Please contact the event organizers for official acknowledgment information.
Check-In and Wristbands
What should I bring for check-in?
Please provide your registration contact name, registration reference number, registration QR code, or registration confirmation email at the check-in desk.
Will I receive a QR code?
Yes. Your registration confirmation contains a QR code to help the Registration Team find your registration.
Does one QR code cover everyone in my registration?
Yes. One QR code identifies the registration and all its attendees. Each attendee is checked in individually.
Can I check in without a QR code?
Yes. Registration Team members can search by contact name or registration reference number.
Do attendees need to wear wristbands?
Yes. Wristbands must be worn at all times during the event.
Competition Items
What competitions will be held?
Competition items include English Solo, Malayalam Solo, Storytelling, Elocution, Bible Quiz, and Group Song. Visit the View Competition Items page for grade categories and preparation details.
Do participants select competitions during registration?
No. Competition participation is coordinated through the churches and submitted to the Region separately.
Does participating in more competitions increase the registration fee?
No. Registration fees are based on the attendee category and attendance option, not the number of competitions entered.
Changes and Refunds
Can I cancel or remove an attendee?
Permitted attendee changes can be made through the Registrant Portal. Some changes may require assistance from the event organizers.
Will I automatically receive a refund if I remove an attendee?
No. Refunds are not automatic. Please send email to sermtys@gmail.com to request a refund.
How do I request a refund?
Please send email to sermtys@gmail.com. Refund requests are reviewed by the organizers under the applicable Refund Policy.

Accounts and Guest Registration
I registered as a guest. Can I create an account later?
Yes. If you registered as a guest, you can create a Registrant Portal account later and securely connect your existing registration to the account. You do not need to register again.
Can I register again using the same email address?
If your email address already has an active registration for the 2026 Regional Talent Fest, please access your existing registration instead of creating another one. You can add attendees through the available registration management options when permitted.
What if I forgot my registration reference number?
Use the existing registration recovery option or contact the event organizers. Registration details can be recovered through the verified contact email.
What if I registered as a guest but want to add another person?
You can create an account and connect your existing guest registration, then add attendees when permitted. Alternatively, contact the event organizers for assistance.
Do I need a separate account for every attendee?
No. One registration contact can manage multiple attendees under one registration.
What if I already have a Registrant Portal account?
Log in with your Contact Email and Password to access your existing registration.
